Inter Parfums is looking to grow its market in China, launching a new partnership via its sudsidiary in Hong Kong with Shanghai Tang, in a worldwide licensing agreement for twelve years to create, produce and distribute fragrances and beauty products for the Chinese luxury brand. The first fragrance under this partnership is set to launch in Spring 2014.
Founded in 1994, Shanghai Tang now has a worldwide network of 45 stores, offering high-end apparel and accessories for men, women and children as well as a home line.
“China is a strategic priority for Inter Parfums,” said Jean Madar, the company’s CEO.
