J'adore L'Or - Edition d'Exception
By SENATUS Magazine | 1 December 2013

The haute joaillerie of Dior have come together with the house of Baccarat to produce a special edition of the J'adore L'Or fragrance. In homage to the couturier-perfumer, for whom the excellence of haute couture and the savoir-faire of perfumery were indelibly linked, the essence of the perfume J’adore L’Or is encased by an extraordinary bottle in the manner of a bejeweled dress.

"Real luxury requires the best materials and the sincerity of the craftsman. It has meaning only if its roots are growing in real traditions ," Christian Dior wrote in his autobiography.

For this limited edition of only five, the iconic J’adore amphora, inspired by the house's first perfume bottles and the sensual curves of the New Look , is revisited in the most precious materials that there are. Each crystal bottle is hand blown by one of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (nationally distinguished craftspeople) from the Baccarat workshop, perpetuating the close ties that have linked the house of Dior to the prestigious crystal maker since 1947.
