Starting where pre-fall left off, the fall-winter 2014 collection from Prada hit the runway for the second day of Milan Fashion Week on February 20th. Inspired by German avant-garde theater, the new season’s outerwear embraces a masculine and boxy shape, sometimes embellished with shearling while other times just featuring abstract prints. It’s not all about mannish appeal though. Slinky slip dresses in sheer and solid fabrics bring a sense of sensuality to fall, as do sack dresses in colorful prints.
Scarves are long and skinny while the shoe style of choice this season is wedges with a boot or stacked heel.
