Chanel Cruise 2015 Show in Dubai
By Men's Journal Online | 14 May 2014

It was quite literally Arabian Nights in Dubai as Karl Lagerfeld, taking over the role of the fabled Scheherazade, tells the a story of beautiful fashion, weaving a tale as his bevy of supermodels snaked through the crowd seated in pockets of sofas in the floor that looked like undulating sand dunes - in place of sand, were lush carpeting and pillows. The CHANEL Cruise 2015 collection was splendid, with flowing fabric, floral and Middle-Eastern inspired prints, mosaic/block patterns reminiscent of Moroccan lamps.

If CHANEL was evoking the exotic, then it certainly mesmerized the audience which consisted of up to 1,001 guests - a nod to 1,001 Arabian Nights and perhaps each and every will now leave with their very own story - as they sat charmed while the music flowed and the fashion floated through the hall, customized for the occasion on the Island just of Jumeirah.
