Legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel is set to arrive in Singapore this weekend on the invitation of SONY Mobile to take part in a special Football Challenge where he will be gracing the football pitch once more and also dispense top tips and advice for aspiring footballers during a football clinic.

Voted “World’s Best Goalkeeper” in 1992 and 1993, the two-time Danish retired professional footballer who played as goalkeeper is best remembered for his most successful years at the English club, Manchester United where he was captained to the 1999 UEFA Champions League to complete the treble and winning the UEFA Euro 1992 with Denmark.

First 100 Sony Xperia users to present their Xperia devices (any Xperia device) at the Sony Centres in the 313 Somerset and Bedok Mall at the respective times, will receive a limited edition photo frame which Peter Schmeichel will autograph on the day. First 25 Xperia Z2 owners to present their Xperia Z2 will get an official FIFA World Cup 2014 football and a photo frame.

2pm – 5pm: Held at the Suntec Convention Hall, the football clinic is open to the first 100 Sony Xperia Z2 owners who register for the event on Sony Mobile SG Facebook. All registered users get to bring along a friend to share the experience.
