Alexander Wang x H&M Launches in New York City
By SENATUS News | 18 October 2014

Seen at the launch of the ALEXANDER WANG x H&M collection in New York City. Collection hits the stores on 6 November. The unveiling of Wang's H&M collection also marks the tenth year anniversary of the Swedish brand's designer collaborations and the first from an American fashion house - while next year Wang's own eponymous label will celebrate a decade in business.

"Approaching active wear was exciting for me as I've always wanted to do it, but having that access to the resources - the factories and the garment mills - was a completely different process to what I usually do," the designer explains the motivation behind his performance wear-inspired capsule collection.

"It's a whole new skill set. You have to do your due diligence and testing, but it is something that I have so much passion and love for, that I'd love to have a future opportunity to do something like this that is more permanent."

"It's also a collection that touches many different tiers for many different audiences," he told us. "It doesn't matter if you're a luxury customer or an H&M customer - if you need gym clothes, if you work out, if you're active, there's a piece for everyone."
