In-House Dior Team to Design Next 2 Fashion Shows
By SENATUS News | 11 December 2015

A Dior spokersperson confirmed to WWD that its next two collections will be designed by its in-house team, following the departure of Raf Simons as its creative director. These will include both the Spring/Summer 2016 couture collection in January followed by the Fall/Winter 2016/2017 ready-to-wear womenswear collection.

If you recall, Raf Simons announced in late October that he would be leaving Christian Dior after more than three years as creative director, citing a "desire to concentrate on other centres of interest in my life, notably my own label, as well as the passions that motivate me beyond my professional activities."

The announcement buys the French luxury house some time to find an appropriate successor to the vacancy left by the Belgian.
