Kiki Raikkonen to Leave Ferrari, Joins Sauber on 2-Year Deal from 2019
By SENATUS Magazine | 11 September 2018

Scuderia Ferrari has announced that its driver Kimi Raikkonen will depart the Formula One team at the end of the 2018 season. The former World Champion joins Sauber where he started his F1 career on a two-year deal.

Charles Leclerc will replace him as Sebastian Vettel’s teammate for Ferrari, joining from Sauber in an effective swap of places with the Finn. Raikkonen won the world championship in 2007 during his first stint in Ferrari colours, and is currently third in the standings after finishing on the podium in five of the last six events.
