As partner of the Michelin Guide, Blancpain participates in the Michelin star revelations that keep the world of fine dining in suspense around the globe.
The Mentor Chef Award and the Young Chef Award, were presented to the winners by Blancpain. Japanese chef Eiichi Takahashi of three-starred restaurant Hyotei in Kyoto, received the Mentor Chef Award in recognition of his involvement in the training of the new generation of chefs. In the United States, Blancpain presented the Young Chef Award to Charlie Mitchell, Executive Chef and co-owner of the Michelin-starred Clover Hill restaurant in New York.
