The new Urwerk UR-100V Ultraviolet timepiece is inspired by the idea of UV light which is just past the color spectrum that the human eye can see, with the choice of a deep violet/purple color as the theme, decorating the dial, satellites and carousel as well.

Turn the UR-100V Ultraviolet over and through the sapphire case back is a violet rotor, with its winding-rate regulated by a Windfänger airscrew, which spins in the opposite direction preventing the rotor from spinning out of control incase of a shock, reducing unnecessary wear.
