Harry Winston continues its celebrated tradition of honoring the lunar calendar with a luxurious new addition to the Harry Winston Moments Collection. This Year of the Horse timepiece is a masterwork of rose gold and vibrant red lacquer, designed to capture the independence and adventurous spirit of the seventh animal of the Chinese Zodiac.

In a nod to cultural significance and exclusivity, the house has limited this release to only eight lucky pieces.

The dial presents a spirited three-dimensional scene where a fiery red horse rises in a triumphant pose against a sky of golden mother of pearl. Hand-applied lacquer exalts the muscular physique of the horse, while its flowing mane is rendered in contrasting shades of yellow and orange. Below the galloping figure, handcrafted mother of pearl marquetry forms billowing clouds that symbolize a direct link between heaven and earth.

Dazzling gemstones bring the celestial theme to life as the horse gallops toward eight marquise-cut diamonds that mark the hours. At the base of the dial, a magnificent emerald-cut diamond sits at the six o'clock position, serving as a signature tribute to one of Mr. Winston's preferred gemstone shapes. The 36mm case is further elevated by 118 brilliant-cut diamonds that sweep toward a majestic crown at noon, which is itself set with a gleaming white pearl.

Technical precision matches the artistic exterior through a superior Swiss automatic movement visible through a sapphire crystal case back. The movement is adorned with circular Côtes de Genève and incorporates a flat silicon balance spring to ensure long-term resilience and accuracy. A glossy red alligator strap completes the design, featuring a specialized cut-out to protect the crown's pearl and a diamond-set rose gold buckle.
