A new era begins as Rolex commemorates one hundred years of horological achievement. The Oyster Perpetual 41 arrives in an unprecedented yellow Rolesor configuration, pairing a case and bracelet in Oystersteel with a bezel and winding crown crafted from 18 ct yellow gold. These precious touches serve as a tribute to the very essence of time, recalling the silhouette and case elements of early Oyster watches.
Centenary details distinguish this timepiece, making it a celebration of the birth of the original waterproof wristwatch. The slate dial bears the inscription "100 years" at 6 o'clock in place of the usual markings, while the winding crown is engraved with the number 100. Emblematic green accents appear on the pad-printed name and the small squares around the minute track, symbolizing the brand's steadfast pursuit of excellence.
This model exemplifies the strengthened Superlative Chronometer certification implemented in 2026. Beyond precision and waterproofness, each watch is now tested for resistance to magnetism, reliability, and sustainability. Symbolized by the green seal, this certification guarantees excellent performance on the wrist through seven pillars of watchmaking excellence.
