Batik-inspired fashion brand, Alleira International, stamps its artistic prints on the international fashion scene with the opening of the first Alleira International boutique.
The soul of Alleira International's collection and design is modern, with eastern accents in terms of coluour, pattern and texture. With its contemporary prints inspired by batik painting techniques, Alleira recognizes that the modern woman now looks beyond regular stules and seeks quality fabric.
Presenting its Spring/Summer 2011 collection for the first time in Singapore, Alleira showcased its ready-to-wear and cocktail collections in a fashion show for invited guests at its opening on 29 April 2011 at Marina Bay Sands.
Ready to Wear Collection
Alleira's ready-to-wear collection is focused on modern, contemporary designs that are infused with prints inspired by batik techniques. Styles are versatile, which allow a variety of patterns, colours and textures to be coordinated in an outfit.
Cocktail Collection
The cocktail collection features the use of luxe fabrics such as chiffon and silk, pattern in virbant coloured prints and hues using the batik technique which adds a touch of luxury to any occasion.
Couture Collection
In celebration of Alleira's first international flagship store in Singapore, the label's Bespoke Couture Collection was specially brought in.
The collection inciroirates exquisite 100% batik silk fabrics that are intricately created by traditional craftsmen, coupled with the use of technology, that =meet stringent quality standards.
Each bespoke outfit is hand-painted so now two pieces are alike.
Every outfit has its own individual shared, hue and pattern. The bespoke batik creations are designed and individually hand-printed at Alleira Batik's workshop in Indonesia by skilled artisans.
Alleira International is located at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, L1-67. Opening hours are 10am to 11pm from Sunday to Thursday, 10am to 12 midnight on Friday, Saturday and eve of public holidays.
