JAKARTA The vibrant Indonesian capital is the first city in Asia to host the famous Parisian-originated Buddha Bar.
Raymond Visan open the first Buddha Bar in Paris in 1996, and it still is one of the very few must see and be seen world known venue. After London, New York, Dubai, Sao Paulo, Kiev, Cairo and Beirut, the Buddha Bar experience can be now appreciated in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta.
The beautiful exterior décor is inspired by authentic Javanese and Colonial style in the antique period of time and it strikes a stunning vision of a classical structure of a giant ancient palace, providing an impressive façade against the understated Teuku Umar setting.
The interior décor is inspired by an Asian temple, with Portuguese mosaic touch, colonial style mahogany furniture, ancient artifacts, antiq sculptures and elegantly trimmed light fittings, presenting a lush and intimate mood for the crème de la crème of Jakarta’s high society.
