The highly anticipated Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 finally makes its first official appearance in Singapore, introduced today at a luxurious setting at the Clifford Pier at the Fullerton Bay Hotel, by none other than the President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann.
The Huracán first made its appearance in Singapore earlier this year in January before its world debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March. Through the series of private viewings held back then for Lamborghini owners and selected guests, Lamborghini Singapore had already begun accepting reservations for the new model priced at S$1.168 million excluding taxes.
Its official unveiling in September is timely as the pre-booked units are scheduled for delivery this month.
During the exclusive presentation to members of the media in the afternoon, Winkelmann revealed that the company spends up to 20% of its profits on research & development, higher than its peers in the super sportscar industry who typically re-invest only 3 to 5%. He also expressed bullish optimism for the company, announcing that the order book for 2015 had already been filled.
With the world’s highest percentage of millionaires per capita, Singapore maintains its position as Lamborghini's key market in South East Asia through strong sales over the years as well as its continuing potential, as the city-state grows from strength to strength.
The Huracán will no doubt add in numbers to the existing fleet of Raging Bulls seen on the streets here.
In continuing to set new benchmarks in the luxury super sports car industry with its pure and cutting edge technology, Automobili Lamborghini and its authorized retailer, EuroSports Auto have put together for the first time in Singapore, a dazzling line-up of the Italian marque's finest masterpieces at a showcase entitled LAMBORGHINI ARRIVA at the outdoor atrium of Wisma Atria.
From 28 August to 21 September, rare, limited edition and brand-defining models like the Sesto Elemento and Reventón Roadster which have only been seen by a privileged few will be displayed alongside the road-going Aventador Roadster.
During select timings over the weekends, visitors will get to experience an acoustic treat as the Huracán is revved.
In addition, the Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario — the most exclusive model produced in the history of Lamborghini in celebration of the brand's 50th anniversary — will make an appearance.
