The new House of Dior Beijing is a five-story architectural dream in the heart of Sanlitun

The House of Dior continues to weave its enduring narrative with China through the inauguration of the House of Dior Beijing in the vibrant Sanlitun district.

This new flagship stands as the largest venue conceived by the brand in China and spans five magnificent floors. Renowned architect Christian de Portzamparc has returned to collaborate with the House following his work on the Seoul and Geneva boutiques to design a sculptural building defined by innovative curves.

The façade features petal-shaped shells with clean lines that evoke the movement of the toiles Christian Dior once used to cut his haute couture dresses. These vertical fronts are punctuated by handcrafted golden glass tiles which utilize a powerful color traditionally reserved for Chinese royalty.

The interior reveals a succession of unique settings that pay homage to Christian Dior's original vocation as an architect. Visitors navigate spaces adorned with cabochon parquet flooring and reinterpreted cannage alongside cutting-edge furniture and black-and-white photographs.

The ground floor displays feminine bags and shoes while the second floor is dedicated to women's ready-to-wear and the fragrances of La Collection Privée. The journey ascends to the top floor where a room concept by OMA features white toiles that sketch the contours of garments in three dimensions to exemplify the savoir-faire of the Ateliers.

Fashion enthusiasts will discover a selection of exclusive creations conceived especially for this venue. The racks feature ethereal dresses from the 2026 cruise collection in a luminous palette alongside jackets adorned with a majestic pegasus.

The men's wardrobe offers an audacious contemporary look with the Dior Mountains capsule collection for winter sports and the sophisticated cuts of the Dior Icons line. Jewelry collectors can admire ten Rose des Vents pendants embellished with hearts made of precious snakewood.

The boutique also serves as a gallery that fuses emotion with cultural heritage through works of art such as the Ginkgo Leaf Bench by Claude Lalanne which greets guests at the entrance. The space is suffused with vibrant energy from pieces by artists including Xu Zhen and Wang Xiyao while a private room showcases a hypnotic painting by Mathilde Denize.

This sensory immersion culminates at the Monsieur Dior restaurant on the garden level where the world's most Michelin-starred female chef Anne-Sophie Pic embodies the excellence of French gastronomy.

Her tailor-made menu poetically tells the story of the House through dishes like Les Perles which pairs crab and caviar to evoke embroidery. She even pays tribute to the leopard print muse Mizza Bricard with her signature savory berlingots and revisits the millefeuille in homage to the Miss Dior houndstooth motif.
