Porsche has launched a pop-up exhibition entitled #DrivingTomorrow at Jewel Changi Airport. The installation delineates the journey of the sports car marque towards electromobility, and its futureproof solutions and innovations through the years.
Visitors will learn about the vision of Porsche, and its commitments towards a sustainable and fascinating future in greater detail.
This is also the first time Porsche Asia Pacific is displaying the Porsche 356 alongside the Porsche Taycan, bringing together the very first sports car to carry the Porsche badge, and the first all-electric Porsche that carries the company’s heritage into the future.
The fully-electric car, of which production at the Zuffenhausen plant in Germany is also CO2-neutral, was recently recognised as the world’s most innovative car by scientists from the Centre of Automotive Management. The Taycan is a sports car with an unmatched driving experience that is pure Porsche – but powered by advanced electric drives, and batteries with high energy and power density that are both fast charging and recyclable.
The brand’s future-oriented mindset and design process is reflected through excerpts from "Porsche Unseen," a book that opens the gates to previously highly-classified concept studies that were made public just a month ago.
The #DrivingTomorrow pop-up exhibition is located on level two of Jewel Changi Airport. Visitors with kids can also share an interactive experience with Porsche mascots, Tom Targa and Tina Turbo. Entry is complimentary, from 10am to 10pm daily, from 18 December 2020 to 16 January 2021.
