On 4 May 1904, Charles Stewart Rolls, a wealthy marketing savvy aristocrat, met Frederick Henry Royce, a miller’s son and brilliant engineer, at The Midland Hotel in Manchester. This historic meeting resulted in a partnership that would become world famous for engineering perfection and top end luxury: Rolls-Royce.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars kicks off its first touring exhibition for Asia, opening in Singapore on 22 April at the Flower Dome at at Gardens by the Bay, followed by Tokyo in May, then Hong Kong and Seoul in June.
The Icon Tour is a celebration of 110 years of iconic motoring and contemporary luxury, and the one-of-its-kind exhibition will bring invited guests on a journey of timeless design, exquisite craftsmanship and visionary engineering of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, revealing how the iconic super-luxury motor car brand has evolved from its beginnings in 1904 to its current contemporary status as the pinnacle brand in the motor industry.
An exclusive collection of travel and lifestyle accessories for men and women including leather bags, wallets, cufflinks, pens, mousemats and scale-models will be available for sale.
The Phantom, Ghost and Wraith – each model with its own exceptional style, personality and powerful stance - will be on show, along with bespoke samples, lifestyle accessories and Rolls-Royce heritage.

In addition, the British marque will present its latest super-luxury car, the Ghost V-Specification- a limited edition series of Ghost and Ghost Extended Wheelbase motor cars - for the first time in South East Asia. The car is the most powerful Ghost of its kind, celebrating the success of the effortlessly powerful 6.6 litre, V12 twin turbocharged engine, rated at 593hp.
"This limited series celebrates one of Ghost’s defining characteristics; the exquisite 6.6 litre Rolls-Royce V12 engine," said Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

A public session has been scheduled for 23 April from 6 to 10pm to view the cars, and meet with Rolls-Royce craftspeople from the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, who will be flying in specially from the United Kingdom.
