In May 2009, the internationally renowned range of premium sparkling wines produced at Australia’s renowned Domaine Chandon winery will be released in Singapore under the Chandon label.

In 1986, Domaine Chandon Australia was established in the Yarra Valley of Victoria by Champagne House Moët & Chandon to produce high quality cool climate sparkling wines using the méthode traditionnelle and grape varieties of Champagne.

Two styles of premium sparkling wines are available: the fresh and engaging Chandon Brut and the bright and vibrant Chandon Rosé.

Chandon is the quintessential expression of Australian sparkling wine, renowned worldwide for its quality, style and finesse and have generated similar recognition elsewhere in the world over the last ten years under the Green Point label.

The sparkling wines are made with the same grape varieties used in Champagne; Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. They are also aged in their bottles for a minimum of 18 months, an essential part of the ‘méthode traditionnelle’ process that adds layers of complexity and texture to the finished wine.
