The Majestic of Malacca

MALACCA The Majestic Malacca allows for the enjoyment of the rich and unique melange of Dutch, Portugese, British, Chinese, Indian and Malay influences in this historic seaside city.

Completed in 1929 as a private mansion, it was first converted into a hotel in 1952. Half a century later and after some half a decade of restoration works, The Majestic Malacca opened in 2006.

Today the hotel draws influences not only from the European colonial powers that have ruled the city, but also from the Peranakan--a unique combination of Chinese and Malay influence. These are found in the hotel's unique architecture, rich interiors, its gourmet food, and the spa treatments offered by its Spa Village.

There is no other place in Malaysia that provides as interesting and complex an experience than Malacca. And no other hotel to enjoy all that but The Majestic Malacca.
