In the continuation of its holiday tradition, Tiffany & Co. hosted guests in a magnificent light-up of its Christmas Tree at Takashimaya Shopping Center located on the iconic Orchard Road in Singapore on 16 November.

Officiating the ceremony were Mr. Kiyoshi Takehara, Managing Director of Toshin Development Singapore, Mr. Tatsuo Yano, Managing Director of Takashimaya Singapore, who were joined Ms. Marianne Liow, Market Director for Tiffany & Co. Singapore.

With the placing the iconic Robin Egg blue box on the podium, an eruption of confetti was followed by the igniting of the lights on the Tiffany Christmas tree.

Standing majestically within the main concourse of the mall, the Tiffany Christmas tree with its colorful decorations welcomes shoppers and visiting tourists to partake and enjoin in the joys of giving in the greatest tradition of Tiffany & Co.

The holiday tradition for the 180-year-old American jeweller has always been a celebrated season, true romantics, when lovers can express their vows to each other, family members and friends to one another, as well. It is a time of boundless joy, mixed with memories.

The finale of the event's proceedings featured The Sam Willows delighting the crowd with their renditions of classic Christmas songs.

Customers were also given the opportunity to enjoy a unique Tiffany tradition, with personalised postcards calligraphed by Tiffany's in-house calligrapher, mailed to their loved ones.

On treat was also a hot chocolate beverage, available as "Meet me under the Mistletoe" or "Baby it’s Cold Outside", appropriate to twinkle the warm fuzzy feeling in the stomach!
