Precision has a new, transparent home. At Watches and Wonders 2026, Zenith unveiled the Chronomaster Sport Skeleton, a timepiece that strips away the traditional dial to reveal the internal workings of the El Primero. This release represents a significant evolution of the world's first automatic, integrated high-frequency chronograph calibre, which has defined the Maison's identity since 1969.
The openworked architecture of this model allows for a deep exploration of the El Primero 3600 SK movement. Beating at a frequency of 5Hz, or 36,000 vibrations per hour, the calibre provides a power reserve of 60 hours and the ability to measure time with tenth-of-a-second accuracy. Every gear and lever is positioned to be admired through a tinted sapphire dial that features a smoked black gradient and three different-coloured counters.

Luxury is woven into the very fabric of the 41mm case, which is crafted from 18-ct rose gold. The bezel is a study in brilliance, set with fifty-two VVS baguette-cut diamonds that frame the mechanical spectacle within. This luminosity is mirrored on the dial by 18-ct rose gold hour markers, also set with baguette-cut diamonds, and rhodium-plated hands coated with SuperLuminova for perfect legibility.

Beyond the brilliance of the gem-set edition, the Zenith Chronomaster Sport Skeleton is offered in three additional distinct versions that celebrate the diverse facets of high-frequency style.
The range includes a stainless steel execution with a matching integrated steel bracelet, alongside a striking yellow gold version that brings a warm, heritage-inspired radiance to the skeletonized display. Rounding out the collection is a contemporary ceramic iteration, offering a sleek and technical perspective on the openworked caliber.

A holistic vision of functional innovation
The introduction of the Zenith Chronomaster Sport Skeleton also marks the debut of a new patented folding clasp. This ergonomic development reflects a holistic vision of performance where movement engineering and functional innovation evolve together, ensuring the watch is as effortless to wear as it is to observe.
The clasp features a micro-adjustment system, allowing the wearer to achieve a precise and comfortable fit on the wrist.

This focus on wearability serves as the perfect companion to the technical modernity of the movement. Combined with the silicon escape-wheel and lever, the new clasp system reinforces the brand's commitment to durability and long-term stability.
For Zenith, every element of the watch—from the intricate mechanical heartbeat to the way it rests against the skin—is designed to empower those who challenge conventions and strive for greatness.
