Audi Singapore will be presenting avant-garde Italian label, CoSTUME NATIONAL at its signature gala event, the Audi Red Carpet Night.

The event will take place on the evening of May 15 and is the curtain-raiser for the anticipated Audi Fashion Festival taking place from May 16 -20 at The Tent at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza.

For the first time in Asia, the coveted label will be showcasing its Fall/Winter 2012/13 collection during the exclusive event. It will also be the first time that the label has ever showcased in Singapore.

A cult favourite in the fashion circles, CoSTUME NATIONAL has a highly recognisable style, which is the result of designer Ennio Capasa’s ability to merge his Italian background of perfect tailoring to a sensitivity toward what is edgy.

The label has a timeless approach to style often defined minimal-chic and rock’n’roll.

Another highlight of the exclusive event is the showcase of the three winning collections of the Audi Star Creation – a unique, regional fashion design competition aimed at discovering tomorrow’s fashion stars today.

Part of this showcase is also the announcement of the Audi Young Designer Award, a special award bestowed upon one of the three Audi Star Creation winners, whose collection display qualities in line with Audi’s design philosophies of innovation and progressiveness.

Following the tradition of the Audi Red Carpet Night, the marquee will also unveil an all-new model. Like the F/W 2012/13 collection from CoSTUME NATIONAL, the evening will be the first time that the stylish new Audi is shown in Singapore.

Attendees can expect a night of glamour and cutting-edge fashion, punctuated with international performers aimed to excite on a night that will set the tone for the 2012 Audi Fashion Festival.
