The newly unveiled #DiorAW25 collection takes its cues from the ‘Orlando’, the Virginia Woolf novel whose eponymous central character’s story arc spans genders and centuries.
Interpreting these elements in a Dior context, @MariaGraziaChiuri peeled back the layers of menswear tailoring constructions to make pad-stitched canvassing a standalone decorative feature, abbreviating and rounding proportions enriched with detachable ruffles, and reprising the ‘J’adore Dior’ tee as fashion history of a more recent kind.
