Gucci creative director Frida Giannini took a trip back to the seventies for the Italian label's spring summer 2015 collection. Presented during the first day of Milan Fashion Week, the model opened the show with a narrow-shouldered button-through A-line skirt suit rendered in white leather, matched with the toffee-coloured suede coat dresses with stonking gold marine buttons. The collection still focused on sportswear of the decade with the always trendy bohemian style.
Cropped blue denim jeans was Giannini favorite. It was constructed in a relaxed boyfriend cut and paired with band jackets while jewel-toned skirts in suede were worn with furry vests. For night, mini dresses with deep-V necklines came drenched in more detail; a very oriental-style dresses with Mandarin collars and floral embroidery glinting with beading over. The accessories also embraced the seventies vibe, where it features with soft leather messenger bags, strappy sandal heels and calf-high boots.
