Six Decades of Tudor Divers' Watches on Exhibition at New Tudor Boutique at ION Orchard
By SENATUS Editor | 2 December 2020

To celebrate the launch of the new standalone Tudor boutique by The Hour Glass, visitors are treated to a curated showcase titled Six Decades of Tudor Divers’ Watches. Held in Southeast Asian for the first time in Singapore, from 1 to 13 December 2020, the exhibit shows the evolution of diving watches from each decade and honouring the brand’s memorable milestones as a supplier of divers’ watches to some of the largest navies in the world.

The adoption of these watches by professionals in military organisations pushed the brand’s products to its limits and is a testament of Tudor's undeniable quality over the last sixty years.

Amongst those historical models displayed are the Oyster Prince Submariner (ref 7922), TUDOR’s first divers’ watch launched in 1954 and the Oyster Prince Submariner (ref 9401/0) which was issued to the Marine nationale (French Navy) in 1980.

These pieces are placed alongside the brand's Black Bay collection, which includes references to the 1958 and 1969 models, which first introduced the brand’s use of the ‘Big Crown’ and ‘snowflake hands’.
