Dolce & Gabbana Launches San Valentino Capsule Collection

3 February 2016

By Tricia Oliveira

Dolce & Gabbana has launched a special men and women's capsule collection created to celebrate love on the most romantic day of the year, Valentine's Day.

The women's collection includes A-line lace dresses with chiffon sleeves, velvet and brocade flared dresses with elbow-length sleeves and a sleeveless version to be worn with a chiffon blouse.

A series of georgette, crepe de chine and silk muslin t-shirts with exclusive naïf prints and jersey t-shirts with lace, velvet and brocade patchwork hearts complete the look. A jewelry set with earrings, necklace and bracelet has small delicate roses and heart charms.

For men there are jersey t-shirts with exclusive new prints featuring stylized hearts and dots to evoke the theme of love. The prints and embroidered decorations make this capsule collection special.

Each item of the collection features colored, embroidered hearts in various sizes and made from different materials, the name San Valentino (which means Valentine's Day) in gold sequins and a patchwork of colorful jacquard, lace and brocade fabrics embellished with stones, crystals and metal studs, and multicolored macramé floral appliqués.

The San Valentino Collection will be available in Dolce&Gabbana boutiques worldwide starting 30 January 2016.
