Louis Vuitton Opens 1st Airport Store in South Asia in Singapore's Changi Airport Terminal 3

Louis Vuitton has opened the doors to its first ever airport store in South Asia, right here in Singapore.

Located within Changi Airport's newly-minted Crystal Garden, the duplex store is an ideal focal point for the French luxury label to highlight its travel heritage to the 60 million passengers coming through from 380 cities worldwide.

A majestic digital entrance standing at 6.5 metres tall features an LED screen displaying 3-dimensional elements, created especially for this boutique. It is made up of two layers, with the exterior being glass and an inner mesh of sparkling copper diamonds inspired by the House's Monogram flower.

With the facade being see-through, daylight permeates into the store, breathing life into the otherwise indoor shopping space.

Walking in, visitors can see a life-size replica of a French plane from the 1930s. This is complemented by little "flying machines" that carry the brand's signature monogram trunks and suitcases high above the store. Once again, a reminder of its roots in travel.

Cerused oak shelving and timber wood floor, leather-covered tables, come together to accentuate the exquisite choice of materials for the store decor. A staircase, crafted in wood, glass and leather sits at tieback of the store, leading up to an exhibition space on the second floor.

On offer at this newly-opened boutique is a selection of men's and women's leather goods, ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes, watches and fragrances, ready to equip the modern day traveller off on a journey, or returning from one, for business or for pleasure. Something for all.
