A visual feast awaits gemstone aficionados as Tiffany & Co. will showcase its high jewellery collection — Vivid Dreams, The Extraordinary Colors of Tiffany in April. The collection makes its debut outside of the US, where it was launched last October, with an exhibition for the public in Singapore before it travels around the region.
A celebration of Tiffany's influence on the kaleidoscopic world of gems and rare stones, the showcase will feature over 80 pieces of meticulously crafted modern designs that accentuate the beauty of the exotic stones.

Many of the designs feature colourful gems that were first introduced by Tiffany, which named and introduced them in the early and mid-19th century. Among them are kunzites, morganites, tsavorites, and tanzanites — a colourful quartet affectionately known as the Tiffany Legacy Gemstones. These natural treasures were named in honour of illustrious personalities in the American luxury jeweller's history, as well as the stones' countries of origin.
Other extraordinary pieces on display will feature magnificent rare rubies, emeralds and sapphires, as well as rubellites and fire opals. The collection's pieces are available for sale, with a price range of US$28,000 to US$1.89m.

Another highlight of the exhibition: A showcase of 35 archival jewellery pieces — which include Art Deco baubles, a parasol handle and a ruby-encrusted lapel watch — dating from as far back as the 1850s, from the Tiffany vault.
Accompanying the Vivid Dreams collection, it serves as an introduction to Tiffany's legacy gemstones in 180 years of iconic jewellery designs. The archive pieces were specially selected to match the gemstones featured in the current collection.
A noteworthy piece: A magnificent necklace that exemplifies Paloma Picasso’s design legacy and Tiffany’s ability to source the finest and most unusual gemstones. Requiring over 900 hours of labour to craft, the design incorporates 416 carats of 15 different stones punctuated with Picasso's famous diamond 'X's' set in platinum and mounted in 18k yellow gold.
Vivid Dreams, The Extraordinary Colors of Tiffany and Tiffany Legacy Gemstones Archival Collection opens to the public on 8 April, from 10am to 9:30pm, at the Tiffany & Co. store, ION Orchard.
