Recalling the origins of Hermès, the horse permeates the Arceau Samarcande watch. Designed by Henri d'Origny in 1978, the Arceau line distinguishes itself through a round case with stirrup-inspired asymmetrical lugs. In this new interpretation, time rings out beneath a Saint-Louis crystal dial openworked to form a horse's head.
The cutout reveals the new H1927 skeletonised mechanical self-winding movement, a custom-made calibre produced exclusively for Hermès. Housed in a 38 mm-diameter white or rose gold case, this new chiming movement activates a minute repeater gong.

Under the starry eye of the horse, the sapphire crystal caseback enables the wearer to admire the movement details alongside the minute repeater hammers and the micro-rotor adorned with the Duc attelé motif.
