Chopard has officially a new flagship store in the Crown Building located on Fifth Avenue in New York City. Designed by architects Warren and Wetmore of Grand Central Terminal fame, the Crown Building – named after the ornate crown topping - was erected in 1921, the very same year the grandfather of Chopard Co-Presidents Caroline and Karl-Friedrich Scheufele set foot in New York to find work as a goldsmith. A stone’s throw from Central Park, it has since become the beating heart of American luxury.

Brimming with aesthetic nods to the Big Apple and filled with natural light, the elegantly designed art deco New York townhouse treats the visitor to the exquisite sight of Murano glass magnolia tree leaves floating from the ceiling and cascading from wall openings.

The display subtly evokes the changing seasons and trees found in nearby Central Park, a reminder of Chopard’s commitment to Nature. Italian marble, amethyst tables, velvet and walnut custom-made furnishings complete the elegant spaces and lounges, adding a subtle touch of European craftsmanship.

Visitors will be welcomed with the warm hospitality Chopard is renowned for, while regularly renewed contemporary art displays will provide striking surprises.
